They were talking about the Gough map on Radio 4 this morning.

It is a 12th century roadmap of Britain. It doesn't show Manchester, or Birmingham but we do have the important East grain port of Newbiggin

Hi Ho...

I have just spent a few days in London, and on the way back I decided to go via Warwick  to meet my Silver Lining.

It has been my experience that meeting people who you have only known on-line has been wonderful and fulfilling and today was no exception.

I spotted Silvers house straight away. I turned the corner and my attention was immediately grabbed by biggest butt that I have ever seen, it’s huge and it is no surprise that she is so proud of it.

Silver met me at her front door and we exchanged huge hugs, the kind of cuddle you give to a very good old friend who you are delighted to see after many years absence.
In a way, that is what it was, and I just immediately felt so comfortable with her.

 After being led in I met a bunch of excited animals that pawed and jumped and made strange squeaky noises, among them was the now famous Silver Lining boyfriend DBO who has a real name but until she blogs it I wont either.
He didn’t jump and paw as much as the other animals but he made up for it by making a quality bacon and cheese toasty, and he taught me how to stop freshly cooked toast going soggy (you live and learn). That new information will always be linked to you now DBO.
It was great to talk to Silver and we didn’t need to go through all the introduction stuff, we know enough about each others lives to just get straight into the deeper parts of friend to friend conversation.

After a while the two of them got really comfortable with each other so I was left sitting feeling like the only pickled onion in a fruit salad but after a while (just a few minutes really) they noticed that I was there again. DBO fell asleep (which I am told is normal) and Silver let me get to know her a little better.

We took a walk to the bottom of her garden where she showed me her bush
I have admired Silvers bush from photographs and she is very pleased with it too. It was indeed a fine bush, quite bushy in all the right places. You will notice from the picture that there is a huge cock beside it, but I didn’t want to mention that as I felt it could be made to sound quite rude.

After admiring her bush we went to the front garden where there was a lot of butt admiration to be had. (See earlier photograph for butt pics)

I was informed that big butts are great but apparently, they smell bad. I did not notice this. I did try to sniff in the general butt area; perhaps it is worse in the summer.By now DBO had woken up and was busy making the aforementioned quite spectacular cheese and bacon toasties. While we were waiting for them to be completed, I was introduced to Silvers pussy and I got to play with it for a little while.

After that, there was the usual goodbye hugs and much embracing all of which was very lovely.

    

Overall, I want to say thank you to Silver for being my ‘real’ friend for so long, and to her and DBO for making me feel so welcome. Our first meeting will be a treasured memory for me, and I hope that we can meet again very soon, and that there will be more toasties.

As I am typing this I am eating some chocolate sent to me by another internet friend that I met earlier this year. You have all touched me so much, thank you. (Jon next and I hope to catch JaG next time too)

 

I am left wondering how this blog will affect my google hits…..we shall wait and see….

While sitting here on the network and passing the time I have just started to read Gaping void.

This isn't the post I am excited about, this is just a post because the hotel I am staying in are silly enough to have secured their wireless network with the username of 'user' and ....can anyone guess the password? Yes, it's 'password'

What a great week I have had

I have done loads of great things and I have had a lot of fun.

Socialisers elbow

It seems to have been just one long mass of party. We all have the original Xmas and the works party, our new years eve party which ended at 2.30am with paul letting the street listen to his very loud piano playing. Also New Year ALWAYS entails an annual trip to my mums where she makes us a dinner and we socialise with my sister and her family.

Then we had Suzy's birthday which involved eating a large curry and and peshwari nan at the local indian restaurant (Except I had mixed kebab not curry). There was us, them and the Thompsons which gave us control of a very long table. Neil was very excited when he arrived and wanted to show off his new gloves.

I agree that the gloves are very nice, but it does make it hard to get a photo of him.
Neil seems to think that he looks like some sort of devil when photographed. I have never noticed that. I leave it to you to decide.

Then today we went to celebrate Emily's 2nd birthday. Yes blogland it has been 2 years since Emily came to us. We are still not 100% sure of the long term outcome, and the operations and internal fixings continue but she is just the best thing ever, just like all the other niblings.

Rebecca got better photos on her camera so they may appear on her blog later.
Emily's dad is back from Afganistan for a fortnight, it is great to see him.
So Rebecca and I are all socialised out, hence the blog title. If there were a social ailment I am sure we would have it.
Tonight we intend to put our feet up and watch sideways, which I believe is very good.

A Different Saturday

I'm at work this morning.
This helps to make up for my day off through the week.

Kieran has decided that he would rather come to work with me today than to go into the shop with his mum. He is sitting at Steves desk on my laptop and waiting for lunchtime when he has been promised Seahouses chips. Then after work he wants to go to the little shop that sells everything. No doubt he will want somthing that he really really needs.
He is probably being to well behaved right now for me to say no.
